What We Do
We are a team of proven signal engineers who specializes in rail signal design, rail track design, track roadway safety, signal circuit design, and relay room rack detailing using design software.
Experience
Over 17 years of railroad signaling experience across the New York and NJ metro area for: MTA NYC Transit, MTA LIRR/MNR, Port Authority of NY & NJ and NY& NJ PATH Transit System.We are currently working on the MTA Computer Based Train Control (CBTC) installation, with one team member serving as the Senior Signal Construction Engineer.Previous projects include:+MTA NYCT 8th Avenue CBTC Installation- Oversaw construction for the MTA CBTC installation at various relay rooms and field locations. This included field inspections, project progress reviews and daily reports. In addition, we performed contract review, created schedules, and coordinated activities with MTA and the installation contractor. We also witnessed testing for fiber connections at FDP locations and On-Board CBTC functionality.+MTA LIRR/MNR Test Engineer- We were contracted by Bombardier Engineering. We compiled test related control plans, test instructions and test records for Long Island (LIRR) and Metro North Rail Roads (MNR). We also: collected and analyzed data using ACSES View from downloaded information from the train On-Board Computer; recorded test activities; and created test reports and procedures; and assisted in the troubleshooting and installation for the transponders Wayside Interference Units (WIU).+MTA NYCT SIR Upgrades- Our Senior Signal Engineer provided inspections for NYCT/SIR on this project. This required daily interpretations of project plans, circuits, layouts and installation methods. In addition, we reviewed contractor submittals for constructability and contract compliance, assisted in preparing field change orders and directives, and looked over vital circuits for a new diamond cross over interlocking layout design for a Staten Island Railroad (SIR) project.
